Cranston Mill Pond Earns Award for "Most Improved Dam"

 

Congratulations to Cranston Mill Pond, LLC for having Virginia's "Most Improved Dam" in 2012. The Virginia Lakes and Watersheds Association Dam Safety Committee recognized Cranston Mill Pond at its annual conference on March 5th, 2013. Cranston Mill Pond is permitted as a non-point nutrient offset bank with the Department of Environmental Quality. To satisfy stormwater quality requirements, an owner may purchase phosphorous credits from the Cranston Mill Pond.

Brent L. Fults, L.A., president Chesapeake Bay Nutrient Land Trust and owner of Cranston Mill Pond, LLC, said, "Koontz-Bryant was a valuable team member in making this a successful project and receiving this award."
