Founded originally in 1990 by Gregory N. Koontz, P.E., L.S. and George L. Bryant, III, L.S., the Koontz-Bryant leadership team has over 145 years of combined experience in providing professional design and support services for site development and infrastructure projects.
Management Staff
Greg Koontz, PE, LS, President, has worked in the site development industry since 1981 with experience in site evaluations, preliminary planning, project design and management, construction management, contract administration and management of civil engineering and surveying projects. Representative projects include single and multi-family residential developments up to large scale planned communities; commercial and industrial developments; K-12 and higher education facilities; and athletic complexes.
George Bryant, LS, Vice President, has over 25 years of experience in planning, research, calculations, contract administration and management of survey projects.
Robert Fitz, Jr., LA, RLA, Director of Landscape Architecture, has over 30 years experience in the planning, design, contract administration and management of land planning, recreation and landscape architectural projects.
Paul Hinson, PE, LEED AP, Director of Engineering, has 19 years of experience in design and management of engineering projects including construction and permitting. Mr. Hinson serves as the Director of Engineering for Koontz-Bryant.
Chris Workman, PE, Director of Environmental/Investigative Services, has over 25 years experience in consulting, administration, management, and inspection of engineering and environmental projects.
Dan Jamison, PE, Group Manager Residential, has over 13 years experience in land development. He has designed and managed several multi phase subdivision projects and has also master planned mix use developments with large
amenity features.
Joe Ketchem, LS, Survey Project Manager, has over 33 years experience in research, field work, calculations and management of survey projects.
Martha Shotwell, Secretary/Treasurer, has worked in the engineering industry since 1990 providing corporate support in finance, human resources and direction of administrative staff.
