Survey Project Manager

Professional Experience:

Mr. Ketchem started his surveying career in West Virginia as a rodman. Since that time, he has worked in Nebraska, Colorado, and Virginia.

After moving to Virginia in 1994, he worked as a Survey Project Manager at a local engineering/surveying firm. In this position, he managed projects from notice-to-proceed through completion. Responsibilities of this job included coordination of work assignments of field crews and research staff, development of maps and plats, and oversight of quality assurance/quality control.

He has prepared ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, topographic maps for use in engineering designs, and construction stakeout mapping and calculations for field crews to use in stakeout of storm and sanitary sewers, curbs and gutters, BMPs, waterlines, and buildings.

Mr. Ketchem also has produced boundary surveys, subdivision plats, and Physical Improvement surveys. He has extensive experience in working with local government agencies in the review and approval process. Other experience includes preparation of easement plats and quantity calculations.

  • Southeast Community College, Milford, Nebraska, Associate Degree - 1991
    Major: Surveying & Computer Aided Drafting Technology, Honors Graduate
